Advantages
-More people had a chance at work.
-Cities developed more and became modern
-Technology grew.
Disadvantages
-Poor working conditions.
-Children were forced to work in dangerous jobs in order to provide for their families.
-Pollution in cities.
-Cities became over crowded and citizen's health suffered.
I think that unionization was a bad thing.Although citizens experienced a growth in jobs they also experienced a growth in diseases.People suffered from overcrowded cities and unfair working conditions.

yea, that was pretty much the basic idea. and yea, over all it had a terrible affect on everyone. but in the long term aspect, this was a major step in industrialization. this also led to the creation of new labor laws, which, as you can see today, are still a big part of people's jobs today
Many of industrialization's side effects left it's mark on many nations like the pollution that you noted. Many other effects included harm to many workers, and good effects were grwoing social trends and more money for everyone.
