Hitler's Impact

I think Adolf Hitler had the biggest impact on history.Hitler's impact is still known today.Hitler was able to unite Germany after World War 1.At the time Hitler was a strong political figure that helped Germans have faith in their country.Hitler continued his political career into the 1940s where he was a key figure in World War 2.Adolf Hitler's political beliefs united Germany during the 1930s but cause massive destruction and death during the 1940s.

Male Factory Worker

Advantages
-More people had a chance at work.
-Cities developed more and became modern
-Technology grew.
Disadvantages
-Poor working conditions.
-Children were forced to work in dangerous jobs in order to provide for their families.
-Pollution in cities.
-Cities became over crowded and citizen's health suffered.

I think that unionization was a bad thing.Although citizens experienced a growth in jobs they also experienced a growth in diseases.People suffered from overcrowded cities and unfair working conditions.

French Revolution

1.As peasants we want the taxes to be evenly distributed through each social class. poorest class should not have to pay the most.
2. We want more representation in the National Assembly. Our social class is the largest and we should have more than one vote in the assembly
3. As peasants want food to be more available for the public. It is not fair that the lower classes have to strave while the upper classes are free to have whatever they desire.

Louis XIV and the clergy

When king Louis XIV came into power he no longer followed the Edict of Nantes. While he was in power he forced Protestants to convert back to Catholicism.Louis XIV even offered money to those who converted to Catholicism.King Louis XIV even sent troops to take over Protestant households as a way to force them to convert. He took some of the Church's revenues and the powers that the pope still had in France.Because of these new laws that King Louis XIV enforced many Protestants chose to emigrate to other countries.

30 Years' War

The Thirty Years' War was fought between the Catholics and Protestants in the Holy Roman Empire. The war was caused by growing tension between the Catholics and the reformers of the Church.Because new denominations in Christianity were growing many people did not want to be led by the Catholic church. Many leaders also started to break away from the church in order to rule their country by themselves. Some of the results of the war are famine and the spread of disease throughout Europe. Many citizens were displaced from the battles that were fought throughout Europe.New techniques of fighting were invented too.Rapid firing were two parallel lines of soldiers where one line would fire while the other reloaded.
